Here is a picture of our local shop the Barns Green Village Store http://www.barnsgreenvillagestore.co.uk/
They have found a new use for The Waspinator to keep the wasps away from their fabulous fruit and vegetable barrow. The Waspinator mimics a wasp nest and as wasps are territorial and only belong to one colony and nest, they know the Waspinator is not their nest and keep away.
The Store has just started to provide a small range of products from PestFreeHome.co.uk http://www.pestfreehome.co.uk/ especially to keep the pests away from BBQ and Picnic areas. This is a service to all those who keep this vital village store alive and to the visitors to Sumners Ponds Campsite and Fishery http://sumnersponds.co.uk on the edge of the village.
Many of the deliveries for PestFreeHome go through the Post Office located in this store.

When parking my car after going out last night I was very surprised to find that there was about 20 slugs and snails migrating across our drive, it was all slightly random. Then to make it worse because I didn’t see the snails when coming up the drive I accidently ran one over on the way which wasn’t great either. Then I dropped my phone and ended up on the floor with the snail looking for it with a torch, which wasn’t successful. We need some snail stuff from PestFreeHome!

Blogged by a Mum!
The bug catcher is a unique hand-held trap to catch spiders, bees, wasps, beetles, moths and other “giant monsters” found looking at you when the husband/partner is away. Used at arms length (how great is that?) you can humanely trap the ‘invader’, slide up the cover and then safely scream knowing said monster will not escape until you have released it back into the wild (it’s a big world out there, so why MY wall? I constantly ask with the throwing motion.)
What’s even better, it’s a great educational toy for your 9yr old. This catcher instantly morphs (a power ranger term) into a gadget more up-to-date than mums fluffy slipper, that any boy can use and never be called a scaredy cat again. The look on their face when something representing a creature from Prime Evil is captured and analysed has more impact than David Attenborough could ever have hoped.

Taking pride of place amongst the remote controls, this catcher puts my son on constant bug watch. Not sure he qualifies to call himself Beare Grilles really, but hey, who cares when I don’t have to come over all faint or miss another episode of Desperate Housewives while I physc myself up to catch another 6 inch 10 legged (oh yes it was) spider?
